The piano chords are examples of the most interesting things to learn on the piano. For the main part of your study, a professional instructor will stress the significance of playing by ear, reading music and theory. For the modern piano players who rather play rock, pop or other less conventional tunes, they will benefit the most, from starting with the basics.
Ever watch a performance where a piano is used? You could have pondered over how to play piano just like they do. Where did they learn? How did they master the keys?
Songs played on the piano such as Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne, Alicia Keys, OneRepublic, Sarah McLachlan, Coldplay are more easy to grasp and memorize when the piano player understands traditional piano chords. Even some of the greatest guitar players learned how to play by ear by playing chords. They are more easy to remember and your hands have a method of remembering. It is like your hands will find they have a mind of their own, they do not forget.
You might compare practicing and playing the piano to speed typing. All a person must do is place their hands on a keyboard and their hands are typing over 200 words a minute. There are not many that can actually type that fast, however speed is not the issue, it is learning without thinking. You let your hands lead you.
So what are Piano Chords?
You'll find that Major chords are interlinked with the letters of the alphabet. Let us take for instance: F, G, Bb, C. Remembering how to play the major chords is as easy as learning to skip over every other note. If you find yourself playing the C chord, you'll skip playing D and F. For the chord of G, you may target playing the notes of G, B, and D. You won't use the keys of A or C play A and C.
Now as you perhaps already see the black and white keys on the piano and wish to know more about them. With the white keys there are three major chords that may be played: C, G, and F. Yet for the sound or song to sound right you will need to add in some black keys. One example you can play a D chord by finding the D, F or A.
By touching the keys in the right order, you can simply learn to play the more easier songs. After you master the traditional chords, it just a matter of time till you begin to grasp the more advanced music. As they say practice makes perfect.
Practicing is by far the best way to learn piano.. One of the easiest ways to learn the piano is putting to memory the piano chords.
